What is Jujutsu Kaisen?

Jujutsu Kaisen is a famous Japanese anime filled with action, horror, curses, and sorcery. It is based on the manga by Gege Akutami. This anime became very popular for its strong characters, emotional story, and intense fight scenes.

The story follows a boy named Yuji Itadori, who gets involved in the world of curses and sorcerers after swallowing a powerful cursed object.

Story Begins – A Normal Boy with a Dark Fate

This attracts evil curses that attack the school. To save his friends, Yuji swallows the finger and becomes the host of the powerful curse, Ryomen Sukuna.

Entering the Jujutsu World

Yuji meets Satoru Gojo, a powerful Jujutsu sorcerer. Gojo takes Yuji to Tokyo Jujutsu High, a school that trains people to fight curses. Yuji learns about:

Yuji joins as a student and starts training with Megumi and Nobara.

Missions, Battles & Growth

Yuji and his friends go on different missions to fight curses. They face many dangerous enemies and learn how hard the life of a Jujutsu sorcerer can be. Yuji also realizes the value of life and how he wants to help people.

During a special event — the Goodwill Exchange Event, students from other schools come to compete. But a group of cursed spirits and villains attacks, including:

• Mahito – A curse that enjoys playing with human souls.
• Jogo and Hanami – Powerful cursed spirits with different deadly powers.

The Shibuya Incident Arc – Darkest Battles

One of the most intense parts of the anime is the Shibuya Incident. The villains make a huge plan to trap Gojo and destroy the city. Gojo is sealed using a special item called Prison Realm.

Yuji, Megumi, and others must fight alone. There is great destruction, powerful battles, and the death of many sorcerers. Yuji faces Mahito again in a heart-breaking battle. Yuji learns that saving everyone is impossible, but he still wants to help as many people as he can.
